I've decided 6 x 6 isn't quite big enough... so a few more blocks are in progress to trial this as a 7 x 7 and if that's not right, I'll make a few more blocks to make it 8 x 8. Hopefully the MIL will love it as much as I do.
I'm all for small when I'm making the patches, but as soon as it's quilted I regret not making it larger. Good on you for already knowing that. If your MIL doesn't care for that fab quilt, well snatch it back! It's to die for.
Hi! Welcome to my blog... I'm the mother of two growing boys, wife and human to a crazy English Pointer Pup. I love the creative process that quilting and sewing brings. This is my little part of the web to share my crafty endeavours. Please take a look around and leave a comment to let me know you've popped in!

ReplyDeleteIt looks great Lara! I'm with Sarah - it's good that you are making it bigger.
ReplyDeleteLooking great Lara. The bigger the better for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking fabulous Lara... are you adding a border?
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and I agree, the time spent to make it bigger is well spent and better than regretting it later.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking brilliant, keep at it!
