House. Hunting.

I have to say I am a little over it. It's not quite as exciting as I'd hoped it would be... buying our first house. Scratch that. Home... We spent the weekend in Auckland. Which I loved. It was so sunny. So hot. So amazing. I really can't wait to be an Aucklander. Before heading out to look at more suburbs and houses we went to the Auckland Zoo.

Outfit snap. The DH thought this was soo funny. Note to self - do not wear yellow dress next zoo trip.

Ollie and Gus

Cutest kids on the block. Just saying.

So the house hunt continues... We've at least somewhat settled on a location. The North Shore. Ironically where my Mum grew up and my SIL. It's got that relaxed beachy vibe that we both love and the houses are solid. Fingers crossed we find one soon. Please send good house hunting vibes my way!

  1. The North Shore?!!! You might as well be moving to Timaru it's so far away! We have amazing beaches over this way as well you know and it's just as relaxed. Anyway if you must live over there, well the best of luck in finding your dream home at a dreamy price. You wouldn't consider renting until you find that place? Auckland is too huge to sort out in a couple of weekends.

  2. House hunting can be a bit tedious, searching for the 'right' home! But I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end!

  3. much fun, so much potential, so many new memories to make.

House hunting is supposed to be fun! Enjoy it. Be wise. Be open to new ideas.

    Best of luck!

  4. this sounds so exciting....i have funny mixed feelings about moving. we move a lot, so the work of it is terrible to me but moving to a new place can be really fun and exciting.

i hope you find a the house you are dreaming of!!!
