4 seasons in 1 day...

Wellington is well known for it's changeable weather. This morning when we left, the weather was quite warm. Over lunch dark clouds rolled in, followed by the biggest hail storm I've ever seen in my LIFE. See that white stuff all over the port? (view from our office) That's hail the size of marbles! It was very impressive with thunder and lightning to boot. It made for one exciting break in work this afternoon.

  2. I thought you must have had snow again when I saw that photo! Hope your car wasn't out in it!

  3. I saw it on the news! So much fun for you all this year. We have had hail this week but not much and just little itsy sized bits.

  4. Great view from your office. The storm was wind here, masses of thunder and lightning and loads of hail. I get very wet picking Cam up from school :-(

Good luck with stash busting. I've been pretty good, but had a few tiny splurges in the past couple of weeks.

  5. 4 seasons in one day! Yup sounds very Auckland too . . . right now it is blowing a storm out there, any moment now my house will be picked up and blown right to Kansas City where I will meet Dorothy and Toto and amongst it all the sun is shining so bright that I'm going to need sunglasses when I do venture out. WTF?!
