Sew n Tell Friday

Finally finished! Ollie's Christmas quilt. The fabric range is Bot Camp by Michael Miller. 60" x 80"

And the backing making it completely reversible! I am very happy I didn't use a plain sheet and used my left over blocks instead!

And my pile to bind... 1 more Bot Camp quilt for Gus, 2 Figgy Pudding table runners and a lap quilt and 1 Simple abundance table runner... All Christmas presents so I'd better get sewing! 21 days to go!

What are you doing for Christmas this year?

  1. Great finish this week Lara! For christmas I intend to make the girls each a dress and a bag and a couple of aprons for my Mum. No finishes for a 3rd week in a row for me. I did finish something for my giveaway this week but we've been away the last 2 weekends which is nice but no finishes. Next week hopefully..... Oh and I noticed your Sew'n'tell button needs re-doing. Same thing happened to mine.

  4. Love the fabrics and colors you used. The quilt came out so Nice! How will you sew on the binding, by hand or machine?

I've been able to complete a few projects. But I think I'm going to add a few more. I must be crazy since it's almost the second week in December.

  5. The quilt is lovely - both sides!!! If you would like to bind it entirely by machine there is a great tutorial at Red Pepper Quilts blog. I have used it with great success.
