An Ode to Colour

The postage stamp quilt is continuing to grow. Not quite as quickly as I would have liked. I would quite like this quilt to be finished. I have completed a little over half of the blocks.

But I still have a few more to make... then of course I'll be sewing the blocks into rows and the rows into a quilt top... I am hoping to have this quilt top completed by the end of the weekend. I am resisting the urge to start something new. I am happy with how its coming together though - although I wish my seams would match perfectly everytime!! Wish me luck!

  1. Just remember that this is the biggest part of making the quilt, the rest of it will fly by. It's looking very lovely and it sure looks huge already. You can do it by the end of the weekend! Gosh it's going to look amazing on the little man's bed and every time you go into his room it will make you smile.

  2. It is looking lovely Lara! Good luck with all those seams! There's quite a few there. Remember only you will notice the ones that aren't quite perfect.
